We believe in one God—the Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost.
Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God, which is to say, He is Himself, God. He took upon Himself our nature, being conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for sins of the world. He arose from the dead in the body in which he was crucified. He ascended into heaven glorified, where He is now, our interceding High Priest.
We affirm the divine inspiration, truthfulness, and authority of Holy Scripture as the revealed written Word of God, without error in all that it affirms and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We also affirm the power of God’s Word to accomplish His purpose in salvation. God illuminates His Word to the minds of His people in every culture that they may walk in the truths therein.
We believe that all are born sinners: the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, and because of the shedding of Jesus Christ’s blood, those who repent of their sins and personally accept the Lord Jesus Christ as savior receive forgiveness of sin and life everlasting.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the spirit of God gives utterance; that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are valid and operative today, and that the fruit of the Holy Spirit should be increasingly evident in a Christian’s’ life.
We believe and look for the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
